Up to 40 times faster than USB 1.1, the BUSlink UII series of external storage features 7, 200RPM hard drive, up to 56% faster than 5400RPM drive versions. The BUSlink's USB 2.0 is a dramatic performance increase over the standard USB 1.1. Whereas USB 1.1 is only 12Mbits/s, the new USB 2.0 Hi-Speed specification used by the BUSlink USB 2.0 runs at up to 480Mbits/s. USB, standing for "Universal Serial Bus", allows you to attach up to 128 devices simultaneously with automatic device detection and installation. Since USB 2.0 Hi-Speed is an evolution of the existing USB 1.1 specification, it is fully backward compatible with current USB systems and peripherals.
